National Hepatitis C Modelling Community Reference Group
Kirby Institute, together with Hepatitis Australia, formed the National Hepatitis C Modelling Community Reference Group to guide and strengthen the Institute’s hepatitis C modelling work and communications.
Following in the National Hepatitis C Strategy’s Guiding Principles, the Group’s main objectives are:
- Meaningful involvement of priority populations in every stage of the response.
- Strong partnerships between affected communities, peak bodies, clinicians, researchers, and government.
Organisational members include:
- Australian Injecting and Illicit Drug Users League (AIVL)
- Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine (ASHM)
- Hepatitis Australia
- The Kirby Institute, University of NSW
