HepLink Australia provides confidential, free and localised information and support for viral hepatitis.
When you contact HepLink, we will connect you with an expert on hepatitis. They can answer your questions about hepatitis and help you find services near you, like a doctor or support programs.
It is free to call, and you do not need a Medicare card.
HepLink Australia is available to anyone, anywhere in Australia.
This includes:
- People living with viral hepatitis including hepatitis B and hepatitis C
- People who have previously had viral hepatitis
- People at risk of viral hepatitis
- Families or friends of a person living with, or at risk of, viral hepatitis
- Health or social service workers
- The general public

Who will I talk to if I call HepLink?
HepLink is staffed by experts on hepatitis.
When you first call, you will speak to our nurse navigator. They can help with most questions.
Sometimes, depending on your needs, you may be referred to a HepLink project officer. They could be:
- Peers (people with lived experience)
- Community-based viral hepatitis workers
- Allied health workers
