The launch of the New You campaign was featured on WIN News, highlighting efforts to reach people living with hepatitis C who may not yet know they have it or may not know about the new cures.
Launched in Tasmania with Hon Rebecca White MP, Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care, Indigenous Health, and Women, the campaign focuses on increasing awareness of hepatitis C and encouraging Australians to get tested. Many people with hepatitis C experience no symptoms, meaning they can live with the virus for years without knowing.
New You aims to change that by connecting people to simple testing and effective treatment, supporting earlier diagnosis and better health outcomes.
