Hepatitis Australia made a submission on the draft National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (Standards) (3rd edition) to the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care to ensure a whole-of-system person-centred approach.
The submission recommended explicit inclusion of stigma across all three proposed Standards, development of relevant accreditation requirements through sector-wide consultation and support for health services to address intersecting forms of stigma and discrimination experienced by priority populations
