The Board of Hepatitis Australia, the peak body leading the national community response to viral hepatitis, is pleased to announce the appointment of Adjunct Professor Darryl O’Donnell GAICD FGIA as Interim CEO from 6 February 2023, on a part-time basis.

Frank Carlus, a person who has been cured of hepatitis C and Hepatitis Australia’s Acting President spoke to the value Darryl brings to Hepatitis Australia:

Darryl brings over 30 years of experience in public health, working in community, research and public sector roles. Darryl is highly experienced leader and respected advocate for those impacted by blood-borne viruses both in Australia and internationally having previously been the CEO of Health Equity Matters.
