Chris is a Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years’ experience in the field of blood borne viruses, with a special focus on Hepatitis C. He has worked clinically for 20 years in the prison system across South East Queensland and has enjoyed the challenges of providing healthcare in the unique setting of correctional facilities. Chris is also a prescriber for Hepatitis B, HIV and Opiate Substitution Therapy in Queensland.
Chris’ main priority with Hepatitis Australia is to shorten the cascade of care for people living with Hepatitis C and help them achieve a cure, without fear of stigma or discrimination.
