The World Hepatitis Summit 2022 is an important event in the international hepatitis space. While timing is difficult for Australian viewers, all session recordings will be available for registered attendees for 3 months.

Hepatitis Australia is proud to be a supporter of the World Hepatitis Summit.

International experts will discuss key topics in the viral hepatitis agenda:

• The gaps and opportunities for hepatitis and liver cancer.
• How the impact of stigma and discrimination is a significant barrier to accessing care.
• Can other SDG's help accelerate hepatitis elimination?
• The experiences and needs of young people living with viral hepatitis and empowerment.
• The global burden of mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of hepatitis B.

Ways for us to communicate during the Summit

Hepatitis Australia will be setting up a WhatsApp group for Australian attendees.

It will be a place where you can share your analysis, questions and thoughts with other members. And get that motivation to stay awake if you’re joining a late session.
