Hepatitis Australia is seeking to appoint the next outstanding Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visionary leadership toward the elimination of viral hepatitis. 

Reporting to the Board, the CEO will lead the implementation of a new strategic plan and identify opportunities to realise the mission and objectives of Hepatitis Australia. Maintaining a strong public profile, the CEO will bring a strategic growth mindset and play a vital role engaging with stakeholders and members across the sector, as well as with community and government. 

With an understanding of the public health sector, the new CEO will be an experienced and influential leader skilled in advocacy, public policy and driving key initiatives.   With a demonstrated track record of leading a high-performing team, coupled with drive and innovation, they will leverage relationships and realise new funding streams and partnerships. The new CEO will have demonstrated success shaping policy outcomes and be equipped with well-developed emotional, conceptual, and commercial acumen. 

Connectedness to community with a specific focus on marginalised populations, including First Nations and culturally and linguistically diverse populations, is highly valued.  The appointee will have exceptional communication skills as well as the ability to interpret and engage with Government and media. They will have the ability to analyse and contribute to research and policy development.
