Yes. You can get something called "direct-acting antivirals" (DAAs). These are on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) in Australia. These medicines work for almost everyone and have few or no side-effects.

Most people need to take one to three pills daily for 8 to 12 weeks. The amount of time you need to be on the medicines changes from person to person.
