Australia can be the first country in the world to end hepatitis C. 

This historic public health goal is being amplified in a nation-wide trivia event, designed to bring communities together, get people talking, and disseminate positive information.   

Australia's Biggest Quiz will attempt a world record for the largest ever trivia event staged across multiple venues. The event is part of the Ending Hepatitis C campaign, which is being delivered by Hepatitis Australia and is funded by the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care. 

Australia's Biggest Quiz will take place on 26 October 2022, in 16 locations across Australia and virtually, with more than 100 community groups and organisations set to help to support the events on the ground.  

Hepatitis Australia is seeking community partners to join us for this history-making event. 

The success of Australia’s Biggest Quiz in the 16 locations will be amplified by the engagement and support of local community groups and organisations on the ground. To facilitate community participation Hepatitis Australia is providing 50 grants of $1000 each.

Community Partner Eligibility Requirements:

Hepatitis Australia seeks to partner with community organisations and groups that are: 

1. Active in one of the following target locations:  
   • Tuggeranong, ACT 
   • Blacktown, NSW 
   • Dubbo, NSW 
   • Gosford, NSW 
   • Goulburn, NSW 
   • Bundaberg, QLD 
   • Townsville, QLD 
   • Toowoomba, QLD 
   • Katherine, NT 
   • Salisbury, SA 
   • Burnie, TAS 
   • Ballarat, VIC 
   • Melton, VIC 
   • Shepparton, VIC 
   • Mandurah, WA 
   • Mundaring, WA 
     
     
2. An organisation or group with a mission to contribute to their local community, celebrates diversity and is socially inclusive
   
   
3. An organisation or group that can provide value to the Campaign in community reach and outreach
   
   
4. Have the capacity to support the event and meet performance expectations as agreed with Hepatitis Australia
   
   
5. Able to show tangible evidence of strong reach and engagement within their local community.
