It is important that every person who receives a COVID-19 vaccine receive the full two-dose course of a vaccine. Both Pfizer and AstraZeneca require two doses to provide the best immunity.

Pfizer doses are given at least 21 days apart.

The recommended time between AstraZeneca doses is 12 weeks, although current information suggests this may be reduced in future.1

You can make an appointment for the second dose at the same time you make the appointment for the first dose.
