Resources Development Officer

Full-time: 75hrs per fortnight

Based in Canberra

At Hepatitis Australia our work is guided by and responsive to the needs and interests of all people affected by hepatitis B and hepatitis C in Australia.  We work to improve health and social outcomes for all Australians who are at risk of, or living with, hepatitis B or hepatitis C. We pay particular attention to those groups that are at higher risk of infection or have a disproportionate burden of chronic disease

Hepatitis Australia is looking for an enthusiastic, quality focused individual to join our small dynamic team in Canberra. 

As the Resources Development Officer you will assist Hepatitis Australia to achieve its mission and fulfil its obligations by review existing material and developing a variety of digital information resources aimed at meeting the needs of people affected by viral hepatitis. Working collaboratively with other Hepatitis Australia staff, member organisations and other stakeholders will be a key to success in this position

You will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills and have a demonstrated understanding of health literacy and adult learning principles. You will be organised and be able to prioritise and manage a variety of tasks. You will be able to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders to seek their input and contribute effectively to the continuous quality improvement of the information material produced by Hepatitis Australia.
