What We Do
Hepatitis Australia is a health promotion organisation which was incorporated in 1997.
In keeping with our mission to provide national leadership and advocacy on viral hepatitis, and support partnerships for action to ensure the needs of Australians affected by, or at risk, of viral hepatitis are met; we undertake the following activities:
- Engage the government in Advocacy activities to promote awareness of viral hepatitis
- Awareness events
- Media awareness
- Production of educational resources for the online and print environments
- Manage member networks such as the National Resource Network and the Hepatitis Educators’ Network
- Manage projects that promote the awareness of hepatitis.
