During National Hepatitis Awareness Week 2007, we conducted street interviews to find out how much people know about hepatitis C. This was in response to a Galaxy Poll which showed many Australians were unaware of the basic facts about hepatitis. The results of our interviews can be viewed by clicking play on the video below

World Hepatitis Day Documentary - Australian Launch 2008 The first World Hepatitis Day took place May 19, with the Australian launch featuring a performance by musician Criston Barker.

 

The video below is a short documentary funded by The Youth Health Service in Tasmania, which features music by Red Riders and DJ D-Jon and star appearances by former Nerds FC members.

It provides information on hepatitis and the activities Hepatitis Australia is undertaking to increase the capacity of Australia to meet the needs of people living with or, at risk of, hepatiis C.

The Hep C and Me website is Hepatitis Australia's first online resource for young people. The website aims to make information on hepatitis C readily accessible, usable and understandable to young people.


hepedu.org.au - hepatitis education site

This site has been developed by Hepatitis Australia for people who educate others about viral hepatitis. The Hepatitis Education site provides links to various resources, factsheets, case studies and other support tools available for people providing hepatitis C related education. Links to information to assist educators to deliver relevent and language appropriate messages to specific communities at risk of hepatitis C are also available.
