Hepatitis Australia works to link people with quality information by:
- providing individuals, organisations and the media access to high quality and current information on viral hepatitis
- improving the capacity of the community workforce to deliver accurate, consistent and up-to-date information on viral hepatitis.
Hepatitis Australia has developed a range of publications and online resources on hepatitis C. Electronic versions of our publications can be downloaded from the Hepatitis Australia publications page or alternatively hard copies are distributed through state and territory Hepatitis Councils. Some state and territory Hepatitis Councils also produce their own publications for people affected by hepatitis C. Contact your local Council for more information.
With more and more people turning to the web for information many organisations including Hepatitis Australia are developing more resources for the web. In the coming months Hepatitis Australia will be launching two new websites, so watch out for hspace our new youth site and Hepatitis Education, a site for hepatitis C educators. If your organisation has produced a resource that might be valuable to people affected by hepatitis C please contact Hepatitis Australia so we can add a link to your resource.
To build capacity for workers developing hepatitis C resources Hepatitis Australia also facilitates the National Resource Network (NRN).
