This video was developed in consultation with people living with hepatitis B and reflects some of their experiences with the disease. The shadow in the video was developed to personify a liver with hepatitis B asking for help. Many in the consultant group expressed a lack of knowledge about the dangers of hepatitis B when they were first diagnosed and therefore ignored their diagnosis. Hepatitis B can be a deadly disease, but with proper care and regular liver checks you can prevent serious liver disease and liver cancer.
