Mapping & Scoping of hepatitis C education and prevention activities

Hepatitis Australia was funded in 2006 to employ a National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Policy and Projects Officer. This led to the development of a project to map and scope hepatitis C education and prevention activities targeting Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities nationally. The mapping and scoping project was designed to identify current gaps in services and explore the challenges faced by government and non-government health care providers when developing services within Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities.
