Scholarships

Scholarships applications now closed
Scholarships are available to partially support delegates travel and accommodation costs associated with attendance at the conference.
Scholarship applications are due by COB 19 September 2011
Who is eligible?
You are eligible to receive a scholarship if you meet any of the following criteria:
- You are employed as a health or community worker, working directly with people with, or at risk of viral hepatitis
- You are employed as a health or community worker who carries out workforce development in the area of viral hepatitis
- You are involved in planning and managing programs and services to help prevent viral hepatitis transmission and/or to meet the needs of people living with viral hepatitis
- You are employed in a voluntary capacity to undertake work directed towards preventing the transmission of viral hepatitis or supporting the health needs of people with viral hepatitis
- Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of perceived benefit of conference attendance to the work of the scholarship applicant as judged by Hepatitis Australia
- Priority will be given to people who have submitted an abstract and will be presenting at the conference.

You will be notified whether or not you received a scholarship by COB 14 October 2011
Terms and Conditions
Scholarship payment will be made directly to the organisation that employs the scholarship winner following acceptance of the scholarship.
Acceptance of the scholarship will be taken as agreement to attend the conference. Scholarship recipients are required to notify Hepatitis Australia as soon as possible if circumstances change and they are no longer able to attend the conference. In the cases of non-attendance, scholarship money is to be returned to Hepatitis Australia.
