National Hepatitis Health Promotion Awards

The 2011 National Hepatitis Health Promotion Awards were announced at the National Hepatitis Conference dinner on the evening of 24 November.

A panel of three independent judges convened to select the winners, and all remarked on the  difficult job it was to determine the winners.

Hepatitis Australia would like to congratulate the following winners:

Deborah Warneke-Arnold
Outstanding Service to the Viral Hepatitis Sector Award

Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of NSW - ‘Where’s the Shame, Love your Liver’ Campaign
Excellence in Viral Hepatitis Health Promotion Award.

Thank you to everyone who nominated an individual, or project for the 2011 national Hepatitis Health Promotion awards. The high calibre of nominations was an indicator of the wonderful work that is being done in the viral hepatitis sector.
