No. There is no cure for hepatitis B. But you can take medicine to manage your illness and prevent liver damage. You can lower your chances of getting liver disease and liver cancer by taking medicine and getting liver checks every 6 to 12 months. 

Experts are looking at new ways to treat hepatitis B. This may lead to a cure in the future.
